Mosquito nets on all windows.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pizza oven<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>in the garden next to the kitchen and\u00a0sitting room<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Board game<\/strong>s\u00a0including Scrabble, Cluedo, Monopoly, Chess, Draughts, Twister and Guess Who?\u00a0 We also have a card table.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ball games outside<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>bocce on our\u00a0new dedicated bocce court and badminton<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A 15m x 5m private swimming pool<\/strong> gently slopes from 1.5m at the deep end to 1.2 m at the shallow end.\u00a0 The pool is in a peaceful spot situated on a hillside and has a large patio.\u00a0 The pool is surrounded on one side by a mature rosemary hedge providing beautiful perfume in the evening and fresh herbs for cooking and by the other a sloping flowerbed.\u00a0 The marble patio is spacious with plenty of room for 8 sun loungers.\u00a0 <\/p>\r\n<p>Most of the area around the pool is unshaded and there are no parasols but for those who prefer not to sunbath there is shade in the afternoons by the pool under an oak tree, here there is a stone table that seats 6.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pool is unfenced so non-swimmers and young children must be supervised.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2022 we installed a new water-cleaning system that uses salt chlorination. The water quality is monitored and controlled automatically and the resulting balance is gentler on the skin and eyes<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The garden is informal.<\/strong>\u00a0 By the house there\u00a0is a large\u00a0stone table in the dappled shade under the oak tree, from here there is a lovely view of the valley, the table seats 12.\u00a0 A lantern hangs from\u00a0the oak tree and provides the perfect light for intimate suppers or large parties in the evening.\u00a0 There are two other garden areas on a\u00a0lower level, one which\u00a0surrounds the bocce court and the other \u2018The Secret Garden\u2019 with an uninterrupted view of the valley. <br \/><br \/><strong>Large driveway\u00a0for parking several cars<\/strong><\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Free wifi\u00a0is available at the house and in most restaurants and bars.
