Change over times
The house will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure. Detailed information about arriving at The Yellow House will be sent on receipt of deposit.
Food and Drink starter packs
A small complimentary welcome pack will be left at the house for your arrival with essentials for a small evening snack and breakfast (bread, milk, butter, eggs, cheese, ham, tin of tomatoes, garlic, pasta and fruit).
If you would like some other food or drink left at the house for your arrival, please e-mail Cristina a list of what you would like, a few days before you arrive. Payment to be made locally to Cristina and a copy of the shopping receipt will be provided.
Shop opening times
In Civitella d’Agliano the shops are open from 8am to 1pm and 5pm to 8pm. Times vary slightly with each season and shops in Civitella d’Agliano are closed on Sundays.
“Carrefour Market” is a large supermarket in Bagnoregio and is open all day Monday to Saturday from 8.00am to 8.00pm and on Sundays from 8.30am to 1pm. Bagnoregio is a 20 minute drive from the house.
Car hire, and train stations
It is easy to hire a car from either Rome Fumicino or Ciampino airports and the journey takes approximately one and a half hours.
If you would prefer not to drive from the airports, you can take a direct train from Rome Termini station to Orvieto station and hire a car from there, AVIS and Hertz have offices close to the station.
Linen
The house is provided with bed linen and towels (including swimming towels). If you are staying for more than one week, towels and sheets will be changed at 9 o’clock on Saturday morning.
Rubbish disposal and recycling
The council provide recycling bins in the car park of Civitella d’Agliano. Information about the service can be found at the house in The Yellow House folder.
